Junior Colts
County Pathways
We continue to foster great connections with local cricket boards to enable our higher-performing junior colts to enter the county pathways systems. We already have many successful alumni playing at both RPC, District & CAG levels for Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire; we are watching on with pride and excitement for their future, as we guide the next crop of talent.

The County pathway is a vital part of Bracknell Cricket Club’s development framework and a key consideration for parents supporting ambitious young cricketers. While the club delivers high‑quality coaching, structured training, and regular competitive league cricket, the defining objective is progression beyond club level.
Strong affiliations with Berkshire, Surrey, and Hampshire provide clear and credible routes into the County system. Numerous players have progressed through the various stages of the County pathway, including Regional Performance Centres (RPC), District squads, and County Age Group (CAG) squads. These pathways offer access to elite coaching environments and higher standards of competition, supporting long‑term player development.
This performance‑led approach ensures talented players are identified, challenged, and guided through the appropriate County levels, giving families confidence that genuine opportunities exist for progression and advancement within the game.
